The University of America is a private
, nonsectarian, coeducational research college situated in Bogotá, Colombia.
Established as a design school in 1956, the school developed into an interdisciplinary and innovative research organization, University of America underlines quality over size, focusing on a center of scholastic orders with a solid notoriety in building and connected sciences.
College of America has three schools, containing 8 scholarly offices; especially noted are its projects in Chemical, Mechanical and Pretroleum building.
In 1957, University of America was one of the four establishing individuals from the Colombian Association of Universities "ASCUN" (Asociación Colombiana de Universidades).
